And I want you to know that, whatever season that you're in, that there is purpose within it, and it can be slow, and it can be gradual. Or maybe you're fired up and you're ready to push on that gas pedal, and that's amazing. Take that burst of energy when you have it, because we know that they always slow, and that's okay too. So you want to make an impact. You're thinking about starting a business, sharing your voice. How do women do it that handle motherhood, family and still chase after those dreams? We'll listen each week as we dive into the stories of women who know this is Call Me CEO week, as we dive into the stories of women who know this is Call Me CEO. Hello everyone, it is Camille Walker, your host for Call Me CEO. Now, today's episode is a solo episode because it is the holidays. I don't even know who might be listening to this episode, but rather than leaving it blank, I wanted to leave you with a message of gratitude. Thank you so much for being here and for supporting this show. It has meant the world to me to share so many incredible stories of women and mothers building amazing businesses all over the world, and if there's one thing I've learned after doing this now for over three years, which is crazy. It's that everyone's journey can look, and should look, different. We're meant to find that purpose driven power within us, and another truth is that it can change. The season of life that you're in doesn't mean it's the season of life forever, and I think sometimes it can be easy to be stuck in the all or nothing mentality of having that great idea and thinking you don't have what it takes, or having been down a path for so long that you think there's no way to repivot or to change. And I'm here to tell you that it is and it does. Story after story, as I hear women share where they got to where they are now, in this moment, in this season of life. It is an accumulation of many stories and moments that felt right and purposeful and then changed, whether it was losing a job, having a child, dealing with a major illness in the family, or having to become the breadwinner, or maybe going into a season of retirement. And I want you to know that, whatever season that you're in, that there is purpose within it, and it can be slow and it can be gradual, or maybe you're fired up and you're ready to push on that gas pedal and that's amazing. Take that burst of energy when you have it, because we know that they always slow, and that's okay too. One project that's really been exciting for me and is a new turn and addition to a project that I've been doing here online for years. I've been sharing online since 2011.

I am raising four children they span the ages of 16 to eight at the moment and one thing that has been really purposeful and changing is my understanding of mindfulness and meditation, but specifically for children. Okay, so just a few months ago, my friend, jessie and I she is the podcast host of Positively Jessie she and I have put together a podcast called Five Minute Meditations for Kids, and this podcast is exactly what it sounds like. It can be found on all social medias and YouTube, so you can actually have it on Instagram or even watch the video on YouTube. They're typically very simple videos, but the whole purpose behind it is to give you and your children an ability to connect with mindfulness and meditation in just five minutes a day, and that's kind of the slogan of when I've asked my kids to do this even my own children they'll be like, oh, we don't want to, and I say it's just five minutes, let's just do it for five minutes. And what I found is the days that I've made it a priority, not only does it help them to wind down more efficiently and effectively, because sometimes that can be hard with younger children, but it's also created a really special bonding moment at the end of the day to snuggle in and to commit even to myself to say I can lay down and do this five minute commitment and turn that dial down as we are preparing for the night. So one really neat way to use this meditation, this five minute meditation podcast, is we have specific playlists that are made for winding down. For bedtime, we have specific playlists that are about building up confidence, overcoming anxiety, becoming a better friend, knowing how to communicate more effectively.

There are so many resources and, as I'm creating these podcast episodes, it's a really fun way for me to flex a creativity muscle, because I come up with some fun small story ideas, like one I did recently. It's called little people big emotions and it's or sorry, tiny people, big emotions, and in this episode we talk about how, in this tiny town, live these tiny people who, when they keep in their emotions, it makes them grow bigger and as they grow bigger and they don't express emotions, they cannot fit in their houses, their beds or any of their places anymore until they start to express what is going on within them and as they express and communicate, they go back to being able to fit into their tiny little houses. And that's just an example of like. I didn't write a book, I didn't get it from a book, but it's a really fun way to be creative and to share these stories that also create an opportunity for kids to be visual and to connect with their subconscious and their inner knowing and their inner peace. Connect with their subconscious and their inner knowing and their inner peace. So that is my gift to you is.

I am actually going to link below to the five minute meditations podcast. I hope that you will subscribe and leave a review because it is brand new. It's itty bitty, but within that, I'm actually giving you a free resource of prepping for bed routine that you can. It's a free printable. You can use it as a checklist if you want to, or just a way for you and your children to set intention with your time as we go into the new year. What are those intentions and those routines that you hope to create for yourself.

Now, if you do not have small children, perhaps this podcast isn't for you, but you might know someone who could be, who could find it useful. I would say for age range, the way that the content is written, I mean, I find benefit whenever I listen to them and do them, just because mindfulness and meditation is great. But I would say on average I would say it's probably 12 and under would be my guess for who it's written for but it's beautiful and it's really just sweet and simple and I would love for you to check it out if that sounds like a good resource for you. I love you guys. Thank you for being here for you. I love you guys. Thank you for being here.
